CHALLENGE

The competition is high and young professionals are definitely putting on their A-game throughout the work week. These busy modern individuals, who have the hustle and flow are dedicated to the paper chase, but make sure to carve out time to live their awesome lifestyles. DLUXITY.com, a streetwear eCommerce marketplace, wanted to reach this young demographic who put in the hours for success in their careers, yet maintain a lifestyle of fun after-hours and on the weekends. They needed a website and campaign that appealed to the young professional and satisfied their indulgence in sexy comfort.

SOLUTION

The e-commerce website was created to encourage the modern lifestyle of Millennial young professionals in the workforce that enjoyed a unique sense of style outside of the cubicle. Images for the website sought an “art-of-the-street meets class” approach to fuse two subcultures together. With street fashion on the rise with runway designers and cult brands making self expression necessary and cool, the vision for the new mobile-responsive DLUXITY.com was to be the place for young consumers to find new upcoming designers and styles that cater to corporate fashionistas seeking to express themselves beyond the power suit and dress. It’s not just about loosening your tie as the weekend draws near. Instagram was the ideal social channel, growing more than 2,000 followers in less than 2 months, to engage this market and stimulate their fashion senses to leave the busy week and officewear behind and get fresh into their urban weekend lifestyle. When the 5 o’clock whistle blows, it’s time to be yourself and #WearYourFriday.
